J, you should be all good for the first version of the app with about 10 games in two weeks and then the less important and more messing around games to follow right after. For next week you won’t have the ability to keep a running tally but you will shortly as that is something we would like and think is very important also. You will love the app and so will your friends, it has some fun stuff in it and most importantly very useful for round after round. I am interested in the app but was wondering if you can add a betting game that my group plays. It is similar to Wolf but called Hawk. Brief description is as follows but can provide more detail if needed. Used for 4 players or 5 – we are allowed 5-somes and do so whenever the numbers for the group works out to do so.
An order is drawn on 1st tee. Each hole the picker selects a partner and there is a high low game. Also there are extra dots/units for birdies, chipies, stickies, Murphies, etc. The complicated part is when played in a 5-some the picker and his partner are going against each of the other combinations of 2 man teams made from the remaining 3 players. Example: A picks B then they have the Hi/Low match with positives/negatives against the 3 teams of C/D, C/E, and D/E. Additionally, there is the option to “pig it” and go alone which then causes the bet to be doubled but is figured only on the low score with the Pig having to have the low score to win. It is also a “one tie all tie” or just one player to beat the Pig for the Pig to owe each player.
One other item is with the 5 rotation it lasts for 15 holes with whoever is down the most getting to pick on hole 16, then whoever is down the most on 17 tee picks, and same on 18. For a 4 player rotation it goes through hole 16 and the last 2 holes are picked by the player down the most. If that is something you think you can add you will definitely have another customer. Actually probably quite a few more as I tell the guys at my club that will also use Golfmoolah just for the “Hawk” game.

Does your app have a game where two players play the other two players. The handicaps are combined on each two man team. The highest handicap player recieves strokes on the hole(s) where the difference comes out. i.e players A and B are a 3 and 7. Players C and D are both 4’s. In our game Player B would get 2 shots in the 2 ball game and 1 shot in the best ball game. We play one down auto presses in the best ball and 2 down autos in the 2 ball

Having problems adding courses that are not preloaded. When I go into edit mode and enter the hole handicaps then click save, the handicaps do not save. When I use that same process to add hole handicaps to courses that ARE preloaded but do not have hole handicaps, it works fine. Can you help? Thanks!

I just downloaded the app this morning and niether of the private USGA clubs I belong are listed. How can they be added to the mix? Can I do t myself? Should our golf pro contact you, and if so how?
Yes you can but you would have to set it up as two separate bets so it will show up as first bet on line one and second on line two….you can press anytime you like
Currently the app will of course handle the wolf game with any number of people but you will have to just adhere to the “big suck” rotation on your own…it will keep everything perfect for you and the order is up to you as people play many different version.
Can the scores that are entered be viewed by all players on the golf course during the round? Like a live leaderboard. For example, if you have 6 foursomes playing a skins game, could the scores of everyone be seen live as they are entered by all as they are entered during play? What device would everyone have to have?

Sorry – Nines is a great 3-man game, I don’t know of any good 30-man games in golf.
Do you have to have an Internet connection when using this app? Or can I use it on my iPod touch at a course if I have no access?

Can you mix a nassau with high low? So that any hole has two separate nassau wins available, and any one can be pressed?
Yes, you can track as many players as you like !! It’s a free for all in that way

I am interested in the ‘wolf’ application.
We play 5 man wolf with the “Big Suck” or loser getting to be the wolf on the last three holes.
Will the Moolah handle this permutation?
